Practice Post: Testing, 1, 2, 3!

As soon as possible, do a first practice post- no, this doesn't count toward the "big five" posts per book- we're just doing a test to make sure you can post successfully. Tell me a little about yourself- your interests, extracurricular activities, of course, your favorite book of all time, and anything else you'd like to share.

  2. I'm Lauren. I love reading and writing and have for as long as I can remember. Right now I'm almost finished reading 1984 (LOVE IT) and will then, of course, start our summer reading (which I'm also excited about- I've been wanting to read these books), and a few others I've got piled up for later on. I don't really do anything since I have no social life (bahaha, right, Pampers T-Kruizers?) and am athletically challenged. I am into art, though. I strongly believe that Obama is full of epic win. It would also be important to take note that my memory is like that of a goldfish with Alzheimer's. THE END. :D

  12. Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Smith. I am Elizabeth Smith's twin sister, and I am one minute younger. We do not know if we are identical, but our personalities and interests are extremely different. I am interested in music and i plan to major in instrumental music education in college. I mainly play clarinet in BHS Symphonic Band, but I can also play flute and saxophone as well. I am drum major of the Marching Band, which means I play the whistle and wave my arms around. So I hope to see you all around supporting Bedford's sports teams this year. Personally I am not really into reading unless its music mainly because I am always busy, but i don't mind My Sister's Keeper...which i have recently had time to start and finish. Hope everyone is having a great summer!

  20. HEY! I'm Evan Fitzpatrick Madden, but most people just call me Evan. I am going to be a junior next year at this lovely institute of education they call Bedford High School. I am a swimmer on the newly established boys swim team and I am VERY into skating, snowboarding, surfing and wakeboarding. I just kind of grew up around water, which would explain why I excel so much within the great blue depths of the world. I was also a foreign exchange student last year at bedford, traveling to live for a trimester in New Zealand. It was one of, if not the most incredible experiences of my life! They had THE best surf down there EVER!!! Also in terms of reading, my favorite book could be something like "Deception Point" by Dan Brown, or Ayn Rand's "Anthem". Well, that was a little bit about myself (sorry for the near life's story!) and I will look forward to being in your class (not until I'm sick of summer I will admit though hahaha)!

  42. Hi I'm Myranda (:
I'm really pumped for Junior year and english is definately my favorite subject. Water for Elephants is my current favorite book. I'm also a self proclaimed Harry Potter nerd.
Soccer takes up alot of my time and I'm conditioning myself to play club in the fall.
